Harvesting & Collection

We harvest in many areas in Donegal and Mayo and we are in contact with 18 independent local cutters who sustainably hand harvest the seaweed.

Conor Byrne is our contact for the cutters and he deals with them daily to organise seaweed collection.

We have 2 lorries on site and as soon as the seaweed has been harvested the cutters contact mark to collect the load to take back to OGT factory and begin production, to enable us to keep the seaweed as fresh as possible.

All our seaweed is 100 % naturally grown and organically certified.
